Colin Cantwell Y-Wing
This is a studio scale replica of the Colin Cantwell Y-Wing built from a resin set of donor parts from Masterpiece Models. When I talked to Colin about this design, he spoke of World War II fighters, and how it would have a small crew like a Dauntless. Building this design is really pleasurable, as it walks you through the Y-Wing design origin story, and you can imagine Cantwell's thought processes as the parts nestle "where they should". It really is a fun model to build, and it looks so clean and close to the Flash Gordon aesthetic that Star Wars was in part born out of.
